Dinette table Mod

I purchased a Springdale Summerland Mini 1750RD in April and we took it camping for the first time on Memorial Day. We went camping with my son and his family. the first night we let our grandson sleep with us we no sooner set the table on the support rails to make his bed then one of the rails pulled out of the bench seat. Needless to say my wife was upset and wanted to take it back to keystone since we live about an hour from the factory in Goshen and have them fix it since it is under warranty. My son and I figured that Keystone will probably only fix it to the original state of how it was built. So when we got home from camping we went straight to Lowes bought some wood and stain. and cut supports to nail in under the support rails. This will transfer any weight down to the floor with the supports instead of the rails taking all the weight. Just make sure to check under your bench seating because I had a water take under one of my benches before you start shooting nails or screws into the benches to anchor the supports.

Good fix!! Keystone doesn't have exclusive rights to table supports that don't support much.

Hi,

I had to perform the same repair/improvement to my table supports,... for the same reason bschmuhl did.

I also bought a 3 foot section of 4 inch black PVS pipe that I cut into 2 pieces that I stand up under the table to furthure support the weight closer to the center of the table.
