New member check in
Informally retired and ready to start traveling. Wifey and I (42yrs) picked up a nice 2008 Springdale fifth wheel and a 2500 HD Silverado as the "Tug". (over kill is under rated)



Our plans are to make the trip to Anchorage,AK in 2020. This was wifeys Dads dream trip that didn't happen. We sold our little popup and jumped to this 25 footer.


Wish us luck as we will be one of those couples that entertain the park as we back-in....

Welcome and congrats on the "new to you" 5ver. Sounds like a fun trip to Alaska you have planned. The DW and I don't want to wait til retirement for our trek up the Alcan hwy. We want to take our kids on that journey in the next few years before they become tweens.

You may already know that a great resource for the trip is "The Milepost". Get a current year copy prior to your travels to help with the planning.

We are brand new here too and brand new to the RV thing. So far, in just a couple of days, I have learned a ton on here thanks to the forum community!
