DSI Fault
Hi I have a 2016 Cougar 21RBSWE that I pull with a 2016 Chev 2500. I have a problem with the water heater. It tries to ignite and sends a good flame, but continues to try and ignite. I see the thermocouple glowing red, but it doesnt seem to see the fire. It is a Suburban SW6 DE. Cant get it to stay on . Anyone have any ideas?

Welcome to the forum.
Either the flame sensor or the control board is probably faulty. Take the sparker/sensor out, clean it with WD-40 and try again. If it keeps doing the same thing, replace the board.

Jim makes a great observation and one of the reasons this is the best RV forum, albeit Keystone, on the web. We have the most active, informed and helpful members of any forum I belong too. Thanks to all.

Thanks, noticed it kept trying to spark while the flame was on. Pulled the boot off and reconnected the wire to the flame rod, and it appears to be working fine.
