Hoping to join the rv world in Ohio

Good morning! Was up until 2:30 this morning reading this forum. Who knew it would be so addictive!!
My Bio: Dh and I have been married 25 yrs and have 6 children ages 25-3.
The RV bug has been gnawing hard for several years. Our family loves to camp and has always tent camped. Dh and I are finding the air matresses aren't cutting it anymore and want to move to a TT. Well the bug is biting DH much harder now so we are on the hunt. So far everything we have loved has been a Keystone. So who better to talk to then Keystone owners!

Not sure how long I get to dream as our needs, wants and haves so far don't line up well. Hoping this community will be the magic that helps us realize our dream.

Welcome to the forum from Radium Hot Springs BC.
I'm sure Keystone makes a TT that will fit your needs and budget.
When you find the model you like ask for owner advise.
You will get good feedback. Enjoy the search.

Welcome to the forum, and yes, there is a lot to read and learn here.

I've replied to another post of yours in a different thread but to comment here that I think Keystone probably has the best, most varied, family friendly floorplans out there from all of my wanderings in and out of trailers. They also make many different lines of trailers from entry level to luxury.

If you haven't, you may want to pull up the Keystone site (keystonerv.com) and look at all the models they have. Pull up the travel trailer section and when viewing the different models, the entry levels begin on the left and progress upward in cost/weight going to the right (select?/premium). Spend a lot of time there finding floorplans that will fit. Then look up pricing from various dealers online to give you an idea of pricing. Remember that there is quite a bit of markup in an RV so the retail price IS NOT near what the selling price will be. Going through those exercises will then start to dictate what kind of tow vehicle you need. At some point you will want to see the units first hand....there is a ton of difference between looking at them online and putting your hands on them. You can then "feel" what they are really like in real life. Again, good luck and ask any questions that come to you - I'm sure someone will have an answer or response.

thanks all for the welcome!

Sourdough - appreciate the time you are taking with me. We have done exactly as you advised and that was how we decided on Keystone for our search. Just went to another RV show in Ft. Wayne yesterday! Wish there was an ALL keystone RV show. Gonna be going back out to the dealers around us in the coming weeks to see some more in person. It's a tough job but someone has to do it!!
