Florida Bound

Heading to Florida from Michigan tomorrow, stopping 3 nights in Indiana, 3 nights in Kentucky, then 3 more nights en route to Florida. Looking forward to some nice weather and golf. We plan on going down to the Pan Handle area a day or two a week to volunteer to help in clean up efforts, or what ever we can do. We spent the last to winters in Port St. Joe, met some wonderful people. At one point we considered the Mexico Beach campgrounds for this season, but, we ended up a little north east in Crawfordville Fla. Our thoughts and prayers are with those affected by Hurricane Michael , and only hope we can be of some help in their recovery.

I'm from Tallahassee. Staying in South Florida now. But have many friends up there who were affected by the storm. Mexico Beach is real bad. Port St Joe isn't real good but I hear accessible. Not sure if they will let many pass thru Hwy 98 Mexico Beach yet.
What campground by Crawfordville?
I know closer to East Point there's a super nice camp ground and also one by Carrabelle beach. FYI Carrabellle Beach is where they practiced landing for D-Day
Safe travels!
