Help

New owner 2010 outback super light 268rl I cannot get the tip out out electrically sounds like gear stripped mechanically I just can't figure it out anything would help thank you

You say, "sounds like gear stripped mechanically". If it's "clicking" or "knocking", you may have a "jammed bell". Crawl under the trailer, look at the slide rams, you'll see a "brass colored bell" on one of the rams. There are two nuts locking the bell in place. Loosen the nuts, turn the bell about 1/2 turn, tighten the nuts and see if the slide moves. You may need to adjust it several times before the slide "un-jams", but I think that may be your problem.
