Surprising hitch weight and 3/4 ton carrying capacity

When looking at some of the 5'vers, and then some of the ratings for 3/4 ton ( F250, GM 2500, Ram 2500), the hitch pin weight is at or over 2000 pounds, and the carrying capacity is around 2300-2400 pounds. While that is over the 1500 pound, 3/4 ton designation, all trucks are not created equal, so just with the driver and passenger you could be over the weight capacity for many 5vers, but well withing the towing capacity.
Just like the 1/2 ton classification, there is a wide disparity between models and features of the vehicles. While some are low, others are fairly high, so you just have to look close! For me, I'm just going to the 350/3500!
