Outback Terrain 299TBH No power in Bathroom

I have a 2014 Outback Terrrain 299TBH.

I do not have any power in the bathroom. The lights and fan will not turn on. Also, the outlet is not working. I have checked and rest the GFI in the outlet, tripped and reset the breaker, and checked all of the fuses. Everything else in the camper works. I have tried it on just the battery and on shore power but nothing is doing the trick.

Any suggestions?

Welcome to the forum

The lights and fan are 12VDC

The GFI is 120VAC.

Let’s deal with the 12V stuff first. Do the fan and light have a switch on the wall AND a switch at the appliance/light? If so make sure the switches are in the correct position. Does the light have a bad bulb by chance?

The GFI outlet, have you verified voltage to the outlet?

Yes, they both have a switch on the wall. The bulbs are good. Just tripped the main breaker and turned it back on and everything is working now. I had changed the fuse earlier but I guess it had to be reset.(?) I had also replaced the fan in the bathroom too.

Thanks for the help.

The fan and lights are 12 volt, they should operate by battery if the shore power is unplugged or the main breaker is off. I would be looking at the battery cut off switch to verify it’s in the correct position, and your battery(s) are good.

Fuse changed would be the lights/fan; 12VDC. AC outlet would be on a breaker. Why would both go out is a mystery. Was everything else working?
