Xantrex freedom x 1200 120V sin wave inverter

I finally bought the inverter for the pre-wired outlets for my keystone cougar 5th wheel. My question is how do I hook up the outlets? It is on a loop going to the 3 outlets, and from the converter. Do I hook up both ends of the loop?

Trying to understand what you’re doing here. If I understood what you said, you wired the inverter to the converter????

Look at your inverter it should have:

AC IN

AC OUT

DC IN

AC in- look at the Romex and when you determine which side is SUPPLY that connects to the AC IN

AC OUT- look at the Romex and when you determine which side goes to the outlets that connects to the AC OUT

DC IN- connects to the battery(s). Pay very close attention to the proper size (gauge) wire depending on length.

DO NOT make any AC connections with the shore power on!!

It has the auto detect switch to detect shore power vs battery. Thanks for the info, I will look tonight when I get home.

Bsmith0404, I am not hooking up the inverter to the converter, but instead to the outlets that are pre-wired.

Ok, just trying to understand how you’re connected, you said it was on a loop from 3 outlets and the converter.
