Outside speakers

We just got our first trailer, a Cougar Half Ton travel trailer and we are trying to get everything setup in the camper. We tried the radio and it plays both inside and the outside speakers. Is there a way to shut off the outside ones when we are not outside, we don't want to distrub anyone when go camping if we are not outside.

You didn't list what radio you have, and not all trailers have the same one.

But very likely you will have buttons on the front labeled "A" and "B".
A is likely your inside speakers and B the outside ones.

When you push the button (either A or B) it will shut off that zone.
Push the button again, and that zone turns back on.

So, yes you can shut off the outside speakers when you don't want them on.

Note: The buttons might be labeled Zone 1 and 2 instead of A and B

You can pull the radio out and unplug the outside speakers permanently as a gift to your fellow campers.
