Better to leave uncovered as opposed to a tarp. The tarp will trap moisture underneath resulting in mold, dirt/leaves will wash off, getting rid of mold is a bit more difficult.

I was told by the owner of my storage facility that in Colorado most of the covers are destroyed after one season----combination of snow, wind, hail, ect. He could not see any benefit of them. So I cover the AC, the wheels, and the hitch, then pray the hail does not come back.

Cover or no Cover????

We bought a cover for the winter now unsure if we should use it ? We live in Ontario Canada and got a good long winter and we live on a busy road was going to cover it from the salt from the cars driving past.

Obviously there are 2 schools of thought on covers. I don't use one because I've had problems with scuffing on cars with covers in the past. I also keep my RV in a completely enclosed building. If you choose to not use a cover I would suggest cleaning/waxing/treating your RV twice a year to retard oxidation. If you use a cover....I would still do it.

This will be my 5th year covering my trailer with an Addco cover. I wash it, cover it, and when it is removed in the spring, the camper looks just like when I put the cover on. No issues at all.
