Butch's 5th wheel lock info

Was wondering if anyone has Butchs 5th wheel lock. I know he doesnt sell them any more, but I was wondering what size shaft he used?

I have one of those and I really like it. It's too bad he doesn't sell them any more. I measured the shaft with a ruler and it appears to be 11/16" in diameter. Hope this helps.

Wait a minute! Are you saying the standard fifth wheel hitch has issues!?

I've never heard of it til now. I haven't had a failure, been using standard King pin with a locking bar since '89. Maybe the clam shell type can come apart, but I don't see a way for the bar to come out.
