Fuzion 417 Garage Electric Heater
Hey Guys,
We purchased our Fuzion 417 last September and really only had it out a couple of times last year. This year we brought it out Mother's Day weekend for a weekend of fun. It was a little chilly so at night I tried running the garage electric heater and all it would seem to do is blow out cold air.
We were not running on a 50amp service but that shouldn't matter, should it? Up front with we were running the gas furnace and that seemed to work great.
Any thoughts on that rear AC/heater combo?

I don't think my 2018 427 has that. The garage has a vent from the furnace.

Ours has a vent also from the furnace. But can you go to zone 3 and turn electric heat on? Assuming you have 3 ac units?

If you are talking about the electric heater in the AC unit, they are anemic at best. Somewhere about 1200 to 1500 watts, with that large ac sized fan blowing across it. Although there is heat being released into the air stream, you would be hard pressed to actually feel it.

Hmmm. Well it is under warranty I might bring her in and at least have the dealer look at it.

Check to make sure that its connected. Some have reported the plug in was not attached. You have to pull the inside cover to check.

Just keep in mind, those heat strips are usually 1500 watt current draw. You said that you were NOT hooked up to a 50 amp shore power, so I'm assuming you hooked up to the 30 amp plug. That will only supply you with a maximum of 3600 Watts, and if that heat strip is on, you will be using a little under half of your available power with just the heat strip. Something to keep in mind.

Well everyone, I want to thank you for the help. It was in fact not plugged in. Took the inside cover off and the cord was dangling there. Plugged it in and tested, boom, heat came pouring out.
It actually blew out more hot air than I thought it would.
Thanks again all!
