This is a Marshall brand, but no where in the site does it mention country of origin.

I stopped at a long time RV repair shop yesterday to pick up a replacement pigtail for the propane tank. Anyway, the tech said China has become the primary source for most RV parts. The parts are made in China and then maybe assembled in USA to wear made in US logo.

LED assemblies are another "prime example" of this process. The LED boards are manufactured in China, shipped to the US where the bases (also made in China) are soldered to the board and a "MADE IN USA" sticker is applied. Often, the price is $10-15 for those LED assemblies and the same product, assembled (base soldered to the board) in China can be bought for $1. The "trick" (difficult part) is to find the same product assembled elsewhere. Often times, the LED boards that don't meet inspection criteria are the ones sold at reduced pricing. So, finding a reliable Chinese source of "not rejected products" is the key.....

In many cases, maybe even in most cases, the "MADE IN USA" is no longer available in its "true sense of the term".....

I don't know "country of origin" of the Marshall brand of regulators, but from experience I know they are better quality than most.
