Water Filter location

So I have a Camco Evo water filter. I usually just run it after right after my pressure regulator before the hose into the trailer. However Im thinking since Im going to be boondocking a few times this year, maybe I could install it under the sink before the kitchen faucet. This way any drinking water gets filtered, regardless if it comes from the fresh tank or the city hookup.

However the flip side, this would allow any dirt/sediment to enter the trailer/hot water heater.

So where would you all suggest mounting the filter?
