Water leak into grey tank

Upon the first use of our new trailer I noticed the galley grey water drain flowing water out continuously whenever water pump was on or city water was supplied. No faucets are on! Clearly water is leaking into grey water tank from somewhere. What I can’t figure out is what leak could cause water to enter that holding tank rather than just leak out the bottom of trailer? We towed it across the country two weeks after we bought it and then put it into use. I can accept the blame for a possible frozen line somewhere as this move happened in Dec. But I can’t figure how it could leak only INTO this grey tank without going down the kitchen sink drain. Any suggestions? Hauling it to dealer is not an option right now as we are living in it due to sudden job change.

I believe the answer to your mystery may come by following the sound of running water. You will be able to hear the water running from somewhere to somewhere. Keep us up on your progress.

This issue is only affecting the galley grey and not the bathroom grey?
When the pump is on, does it shut off when the faucet is off?
When using city water, can you hear any water running with the faucet off?
Can you estimate how much water is involved in say an hour or days time?
I doubt there is a frozen fresh water line since there is no evidence of a leak under the kitchen sink.
I'd start (you probably already did) by looking closely under the kitchen sink for any overflow or other hose connection between the fresh water supply line and the drain.
Sounds like more of an installation error than something broken.
If nothing obvious pops up, a mobile repair service might be the answer where you aren't able to take the trailer to the dealer. Most of these guys will work the manufacturer's warranty.
Good luck and keep us posted

Does the outside kitchen sink drain into the galley tank?

Steveo57 YOU ARE MY HERO😊
That was it! I feel like an idiot. I just knew it was something dumb like that. My wife was panicking about all the possible things it could be and I just kept saying it had to be a valve open somewhere in order to leak down a drain. I completely forgot abaout even having the outdoor kitchen. She packed that area with blankets for the trip so I never even saw the sink. I went over it in my head many times going “ ok the kitchen sink is off, the shower is off, the bathroom sink is off. What else is there?” Duuuhhh. We are happy campers now. Thanks Capitan Obvious.
