Dusting off the webs

Just got back from a few days at the beach with the family. Was our first trip since New Year's and I was happy everything about the trailer performed flawlessly. We've got a few more beach trips planned and a trek to the Grand Canyon later in the summer. What about everyone else? What trips have you got lined up, or are mulling for the coming spring and summer ?

the wife and I just filled our camper with all the goods we purchased over the winter for our new laredo. It was actually fun trying to figure out where to put everything. Amazingly enough we still have plenty of extra space. Our very first trip in just two weeks at Normandy Farms in foxboro, MA for 5 days.

We have a trip to the Smokies reserved for the week of June 1st at the Elkmont campground, I have lots to do on the trailer to get it ready and the weather here has just turned beautiful so there's no excuse for me not to get started.

We have every month but Sept scheduled for at least a long weekend, 4 to 5 days camping. This is starting in April, just to check out how everything will work on the new camper. We also have a two week trip planned for the Blue ridge parkway, scheduled for Mid June.
My DW needs to work for a little while longer, so we cannot get out for longer times until she retires.

Me "Cat" is paying me to stay home, this is the best job I every had.

Elkmont is one of our favorites! The low numbers in the F section, by the river, are amazing. Have fun!

Couldn't of had a better time. We got a great site at a great campground. Our Laredo worked perfectly, nothing went wrong. With the help of some great people on this site we worked out some bugs the day before our trip. My 5yr old twin girls were crying when it was time to go home. Took a little getting used to how loud the heat is at night. Now I just need to pay of the Laredo so I can upgrade the truck.

Glad to hear the maiden trip was a success! We really like the floor plan you've got also! Our 8yr old twins now want the bunks! We also found the heater to be very effective, but we crank it off when we go to bed and throw and extra blanket on now.

Happy Camping

Jeff
