Welcome to the forum!!
Are you trying to replace the flooring in the main cabin? If so the type of slide mechanism you have would help.

You will need to “hyperextend” the slide. Can’t say we have done many with cables, done a bunch with electric and hydraulic. You will have to remove the “horseshoe” facia on the ends and across the top. I would check You Tube and see if anybody has posted a video. It isn’t for the faint of heart with the electric even with the support of the rails. Cable driven slides “float” and I’m not sure what the procedure is to hyperextend them.

Mine were "hyperextended" to place Teflon like strips under the slides due to the Darco wearing. The service manager said it took 4 strong guys, supports that they had in shop and $2200 to do it........

Makes sense that they would have a support structure to “slide” the slide onto.

Have you had any luck with your floor? I need to replace mine also. I think Home Depot has a 7/8 inch treated plywood. I was going to create a lap joint with 2 pieces and glue and screw that together to get a 12 foot long piece. I haven't worked out how I'm going to remove the slide and support it yet.
