34BHPR Amber step light
Can anyone tell me how to turn this on? It does not come on with the led awning light.

There is no porch light. It has the led strip under the awning for a porch light.

Going back and looking at photos of your trailer I see that you don't have a porch light or scare light... In that case I'd look for a switch on the light itself and / or pull the lens off and make sure that it light has power when the awning/porch light is on.. and the blub is good..
For what its worth... My Cougar has the awning LED on the same circuit as the porch and step light..

On our Montana, we have a round scare light on both sides, and a switch for each side. When the door side light is switched on, the amber light behind the steps is also switched on. I also did a mod a couple years ago, where I removed the light behind the steps and replaced it with a 12 inch long amber LED light bar, which added quite a bit more light to the steps.

Check and see if you have a exterior or security light switch, that's what my Raptor step light is connected to. Don't remember which one of those for sure.

Ok....no outside scare light. We have led awning light. It is not connected to that.

We have the LED strip under the awning that is controlled by a switch marked "Porch Light". There is an LED marker/running style light mounted in the step well that is controlled by a another switch on the control panel labeled "Step Light". We don't have the round "scare/flood light" but there is a "V" shaped LED strip light on the nose that comes on with the porch light strip lighting under the awning. I think I actually preferred the amber porch light on our old trailer. The LED strip is really bright - seems to light up a larger area. I guess that's good in some ways, but, could be intrusive to our neighbors.

Thanks for the reply. I don't have a switch on the panel for the step light. I have the same V-shaped lights on the front but they are controlled by a switch in the front compartment.

Our Cougar awning LED's were controlled by the switch marked Pendant.
The step light was controlled by the "Porch" switch. Maybe they used the pendant light switch for your step lights?? Maybe they just missed connecting it at all.
Have you had a chance to turn on all the light switches? Checking voltage at the fixture itself is a good idea since the bulb/LED may be bad or loose, possibly a bad wiring connection to the fixture.

Thanks for the quick response. I haven't checked voltage but I can tell you the bulb is good. I have tried locating it with every single light switch. It is very frustrating. I hope someone with this unit will chime in.
Thanks....John
