Small cracks in bedroom slide
Over Christmas holidays while camping with my son he noticed a small crack in the underside of the bedroom slide fiberglass where the rollers hit it. It's out of warranty but I took it to our dealer to check out. It seems that the floor of the bedroom slide frame is made of that cheap straw board wood and the weight of the slide was pushing through it and cracked the fiberglass where it sits on the rollers when the slide was in. Dealer says they see it quite often. On a positive note, Keystone's paying for 5 hours of an 8 hour job and their beefing it up for me, so it wont happen again. Sad that they would use such poor quality wood in an area where strong support is needed. I will say I'm still very pleased with Keystone's dealer service but really question their manufacturing quality. If they built right first time, being great at warranty service would rarely need to be discussed. I still love my Challenger and would buy another in a minute though.
