I generally leave mine plugged in all the time while in storage. I do disconnect every now and then if I'm in town for a few days but generally just leave it plugged in. Make sure you have a converter that provides a trickle charge. You also need to keep an eye on your battery water when on all the time. I had constant trouble with water levels for almost 2 years trying to use the mismatched batteries installed on the trailer when I bought it new. Installed 2 new interstates and they don't use water like they used to.
