dump valve cables

Got tired of fighting pull cables on dump valves so I am having 2 electric valves installed this week for winter trip to TX will let ou know how the work

Fred, I think you posted this just to rub it in! I, for one, am envious already.
I believe we have gotten mixed reviews on the different forums over the valves, kind of like RV covers or dish washers. Might I be so forward as to ask what the charge is for the labor/materials?

total bid was 1200$ might be less depends on what they find when they get the belly open I thought about installing self but at 75 ears young didn't think I needed to be crawling around under the 5er

Just curious, under a failure in the control system, do the valves fail open or closed? Do they give you a status indicator of the position of the valve or simply and lit power switch. Do you have a link to this product that you can share?
