Hello-
My wife and I just picked up a Brand New 2013 266RLSSR, we are in love. Being that we have so much snow on the ground and winter's grip is not lightening up any time soon, we anticipate bing able to use the camper sometime around July

I found this forum and thought I should join-

Thanks!

Welcome to the forum and to Keystone RVing. There are a lot of Springdale owners and quite a few 266's used by many of our members. Look around, do a search using "Springdale 266" and you will get about 500 threads that at least mention your model RV.

Any questions, just pick the right category and ask away.

Oh, and from your picture, I see that you towed it home on icy roads. You might want to get a High Pressure Spray under your new camper to get all the salt off the first nice day you have. Camper frames aren't like auto/truck frames. We have had some members who had significant corrosion problems after just one year. Keeping the salt away is the first step to a "long and happy Springdale life"

Thanks for the tip! I was really apprehensive about towing it home because of the salty roads, but we really did not have a choice and for the money we saved it was worth it. I will be giving the under body a good cleaning based on your advice.

We do most of our camping at rend lake. Been to Carlyle lake once awhile back it rained 3 days straight and the rattle snake came out. Wife is scared to death of snakes she would perfer not to go back. Now we have a daughter who lives up that way so I am guess we can go back now.

Boy camping every week that sounds very good. With the schedule my wife has been making with all the weddings and other functions we are expecting to attend. I don't even see a reason to take the camper out of storage.
