Quartsite AZ RV Rally Jan 12-25, 2015

Any Cougars (no not that kind of Cougar) going to the RV show and rally next week? I know a large number of Montanas are rallying there. Just wandering if any Cougars also attending. We have a 277RL - Larry

Desert, do a word search on Quartsite Sports,Vacation, & RV show 2015. You'll get an outline and some pictures. About 150,000 people are expected for this small town event. Lots of RV equipment vendors, huge flee market, and my wife loves the 50 gallon drums of crystals and gems. RV's parked in every direction for miles. Montana owners park chuck wagon style in a large circle, dry camped.

The rally was good again we seen a mess of keystone toyhauler this year. Stay at a camp with folks that owned classA pushers . I can say big dollars with big problems and there mostly full timers. Beautiful weather and people.

Trucker have you seen the leather works inside the big tent ? I picked up a nice leather belt with my name on the back and now sometimes in a crowd somebody will say hello Jerry, LOL . Will be going next year and staying on BLM La Posa west.

Been through Quartzite a few times and it is quite a spectacle to see all those RVs boondocking out in the desert.
As a sidenote how do the priorities work as far as spots to park ones unit go?
Is it first come first served or will you be told to move because Bill and Mary always park there?

Hey 66 or is it 12?, most boonedocking areas are first come, some people save spots for later arrivals but mark them with cones, chairs, tape etc. Plenty of room for all, have fun & enjoy.---Lou----

There is more then enough BLM land for the rvs attending the rally. All the paid Parks are full by now. There is a lot of good jeep tails and ATV riding. I meet up with a group of 20 or more . Wile riding the quad I have seen areas where you couldn't be found easy. There isn't any worry about parking .

We are new to the forum. Where so I find the meeting place and dates? We are looking to be in Quartzite around the RV show timing so it would be nice to hook up with the Keystone folks.

Bev and I were there on Tuesday. We picked up a Progressive EMS and a small vacuum cleaner. We are staying in a furnished studio apartment in Las Vegas for three months this year. Bev wanted to bring the motorcycle with us one more time. We will be using our new 177LHS this summer.
