If you are close to the dealer go back and ask to look at the roofs of some other new campers. Then compare your notes (yours verses those). I have been on my roof twice a year since I bought it and mine doesn't look like that at the front cap. Dirty from being parked near some trees but not like that. That looks like a lot of dycor self leveling caulk.

A few ripples is normal. That is not a little, it's a lot. If it was mine I'd keep after the dealer that sold it to me to have it repaired. If he won't cooperate, get on Keystone's case. And yes, keep detailed records, including who you spoke with. Best of luck!

reply from Keystone. ... surprise surprise ...

I guess i will continue to monitor and take measurements and document this till something happens.

I hope this message finds you well. I reviewed the issue with my service department and it was determined that the possible issue presented with the roof is normal and it does not jeopardize the integrity of the roof itself and should not pose any problems for your unit.

Thank you,

Ripples on Roof

Our 2013 333MKS has ripples at every seam of the wood underneath and Keystone would not cover under warranty. In addition one of the sheets of plywood was never screwed down, only held down by the skylight and rubber roof. The dealer pealed the rubber back on the sides and screwed down but still warped in the center and said Keystone will not ok proper repairs. I know the roof will not last 10 years. I will never purchase another Keystone.

well didnt get a chance to snap a shot .. had my handsful with a fried circut board. Had to override the board to open the main and kitchen slide ... then had to manually open the bedroom slide since its motor was dead. Also think that motor dying was what caused the circut board to fail. Looks like they are removing my circut board and touch panel and replacing it with the rocker switch bank. Next outing i will get pics of the roof.

It's always wise to inspect your roof often. Just a while back while on the hiway we noticed an approaching 5er with a huge bubble on the front section of his roof. It was at least 2' high and the whole width of his rig. The wind from traveling must have blown it up and the owner obviously had no clue. We couldn't get turned around or I would have chased him down. Poor guy. Lesson learned.

I noticed a small bubble in our last 5th wheel. I mentioned it to the dealer. He said not to worry. The next year returning home from a trip the roof had delaminated and pulled away from the roof vent. A large section of the roof had pulled away from the plywood. I took it to the dealer and they did a temporary repair and said it would have to go back to the factory. They shipped it to the factory (it was a Forest River product). They replaced the entire roof no questions asked. It was the second year of ownership. They repaired a number of other things also at no cost to me.
I now own a Keystone trailer. Not because of poor service from Forest River or the dealer but because I liked the floor plan better. I received outstanding warranty service from Forest River. I was hoping Keystone would be the same.
I don't want to worry you but as others have said keep a close eye on it.
