why did it push up the toilet in the lower section when I back flushed my black water tank? I had the black tank valve open and the 2 gray water valves closed

Are you sure the valves aren't mislabeled.

Have you used it before?? As Javi said it is very common that dump valves are labeled wrong. Regardless of labels the black tank should be vented through the roof and you should have had a black smelly volcano out that vent before lifting the toilet. Unless you mean waste came up in the toilet???

Welcome to the forum
Mis labeled valves is one possibility, and it seems more common than not. If your sure the valves are labeled right, then it's possible that the vent line may be inserted to far into the tank.
Once the water level reaches the vent line, it will take the path of least resistance. Your toilet is at a much lower elevation than the top of the vent.

Not really unusual for the handles to be mislabeled...
When you say lifted.... exactly what do you mean???

Wow, that's some backpressure.... if you're not good with tools you're gonna have to take it to the dealer to get that fixed. Until then close the valve you got open and pull the others so you can empty the tank.
If you pull them one at a time you should be able to tell which is really the black tank cause the toilet ought to go back down.
Sounds to me that the dealer didn't check the valves during his PDI and it also sounds like the vent is too far into the tank, otherwise as mentioned you'd have seen a rain of poop running off the roof.

already have it back down in place. now this unit has 1 black tank to pull and 2 gray water pulls. it also has 2 back flush ports. i'm thinking mislabeled valve controls too now.

You don't say what model trailer you have????? Do you have two toilets???? If you do , the half bath may share toilet and sink to one tank. And it may not have a roof vent (although it should) and the "cheater vent" only releases negative pressure, not the positive pressure from the city water. You may also have another pull handle that you are not aware of.
