Montana 3721RL Questions

Morning everyone, hope your new year is off to a great start. My wife and I have a 07' 3400 RL and are thinking of getting a 2017 Montana 3721RL and have a few questions. First are the slides cable or Hyd.? We have Hyd. now and have zero problems. Any problems with the Large bedroom (plumbing for washer/dryer) slide?

I sure there will be more question but this will get us started. Any more info. would help greatly.

No major issues with ours. Chose to put G rate tires on as soon as I could. It was not an option at the time. Lite reclauking around the tub. Adjust door latch plates. And, the LED display on the level up panel has gone blank. Have been able to use it without. About $190.00 to replace the display. Will replace someday. We love ours.

I don't know where or how you plan to use your new Montana (if you do decide to buy one) but you might want to take a serious look at the plumbing supply lines to the slides. In previous years, and with the residential refrigerator/ice maker in the current year, the water supply line to the ice maker is exposed under the slide. That means that it can not be used in sub freezing weather and the ice maker must be "isolated from the main fresh water supply" to prevent damage to the exposed supply line.

Now, the "fly in the ointment" is whether or not the washer water supply lines and drain hose are also exposed under the slide. I can't answer that for you and if you're sure you'll never be anywhere that it gets "below freezing" it may not matter. However, if you are going to use the trailer in cold climates and expect "full function", you might want to do some exploring under the slides with an eye on how the water is supplied to the washer.

Thanks for the quick replies. The info helps a great deal.

Bugbitten: Good to here no problems with the cable slide. I have heard some "stories" about them not retracting straight or binding.

Lawdogs: I have already figured on getting the "G" rated tires, any problems on the ones Keystone put on?

JRTJH: The supply lines could be a problem. I will have to check on this one. We have been known to venture into snow country in the winter.

I guess it is time to break out the flash light and creeper, and go to a dealer and put my hands one and see for myself.

Nothing really wrong with the factory tires. They were the E rated Trailer King tires. Had them on a previous fiver with no problems. This trailer weighs a lot more than my Cougar 327 RES. Just wanted the piece of mind that the lighter load tires were not going to blow out. I went with the Sailun tires. Very, very happy with them.

Can some one give the dimensions of the washer, dryer cabinet in the 3720? Also what washer and dryer is best? Not wanting a combo.

Most combo units purchased are by a single company. Do not even consider the ventless. My wife will not even go with another vented combo. If not a stackable or other residential it will not happen. Each load is small and takes over 2 hours to wash and almost dry. Her choice but I'm not a fan of the moisture added to the coach either ~ get a dehumidifier.

A big NO on the ventless. Been that route in a Class A MH we used to have. Looking for the cabinet size to see if a small residential side by side washer, (vented) Dryer will fit. What brands are people using?

The depth of the w/d cabinet is the limiting factor. I think it is only 25 inches deep. Not here for me to check.

we have a 2016 3720RL
the cabinet is 24-3/8 deep. opening is 24-3/4 wide. ours came with the splendite washer dryer combo. As soon as we get home it is going on craigs list my wife hates it. would be better going to the river and pounding the clothes on rocks to clean them.
