I was told this morn. that Yellowstone Grizzly is booked till Aug. 15.....

Stay outside of Yelliwstone and just drive in for the day.

I did get one night at Colterbay, after that will be looking at those first come first served camp grounds and hope.

If that doesn't work out will try outside the park, hopefully, Bakers Hole will work about eighty miles away I think.

Not sure if you are including National Parks as federal property, but this actually changed in 2010. It is kind of shocking that they allow firearms in national parks now given all the anti-gunners in Wash DC. Unfortunately this doesn't apply to Wildlife Management Areas like Kentucky's Land Between the Lakes, which I frequent.
