2004 Everest M-361P R-Values

I'm currently looking at a 2004 Everest M-361P and I did a search already and didn't find much info on that model. Is this model a good trailer or not very common? I'm really interested in trying to find the R-Values as that's the most important to me as I work construction and travel to states where the temps range from 115 degrees to -40 below, any other info y'all may have dealing with Keystone or Everest I'd greatly appreciate it as I have only owned a Travel Supreme and Heartland.

The R value of the walls is probalby about R-7 through R-9. Even with double pane windows (it probably has single pane) you are not going to be able to functionally live in it at -40*F. maybe down to +25F, but certainly not below zero for any extended period of time.

Note: The walls are 2" thick, there's only so much insulation technology you can pack into that space and R7 - R9 is about tops that's economically feasible in the RV industry.

Ghostrider01 -

The Everest was replaced by the Alpine in 2010. I had an Alpine, obviously. I discovered the "shortcomings" of the insulation, and spent quite a bit of time correcting that problem. If you do a Search on "geo" and look for posts started by "geo", you will find text and pictures detailing this work - from installing tank heaters to fully insulating the underbelly. JRTJH is correct, especially the side slide walls - thin R7 insulation that is subject to settling.

Take a look at my posts.

Ron
