Hi all, what a great site, DW and I just waiting for delivery of new Cougar 299RKS High Country from Michigan dealer. Traded in a 2006 Outback 28RSDS bunk model. Just finished installing Curt 20K with R5 roller and custom brackets. I'm glad to see all positve comments on this hitch, so I think the right decision was made. Would like oppinion on slide toppers, do you recommend them? Are some better than others? Also waiting for nicer weather to get pics into sig. pannel. Thanks every one. Tim

Welcome to the forum, Tim and congratulations on your new Cougar. We have an '08 Cougar with the rear kitchen and really like the layout. Having the rear kitchen does require some extra precaution about storing and packing dishes though. I would highly recommend a slide topper and I think most would who have them. It was added after we went without one for a year and it does make a difference. Ours is Dometic and so far, it has performed well but it is only a year old.
