Angry Cable TV Hookup

We are having trouble connecting to cable tv. This is the first time we have tried to connect to cable on the road. I have the cable connected to an operating connection at our site (at least the campground says it is operating). I have the other end of the cable connected to the "satellite" connector on our rig. I have run "find channels" "cable" on the tv. No channels come up. I am wondering if there is a step I am missing. FYI: we have a 2013 Cougar 5th wheel, 331MKS. Thank you.

You have to connect it to the "cable" input not "Sat". TV must be set to recieve "cable" and than scan for channels again. Booster must be "OFF".

For standard cable TV service (at an RV Park or C/G) you use the *cable* inlet on the exterior of your RV... should be near (next to?)
the satellite inlet that you're currently connected to. Cable inlet may be unmarked...lost/missing sticker?
Confirm that your antenna booster is turned OFF, then re-scan the TV's (again, select "cable tv", as you mentioned)

If you aren't using a satellite system (your own dish & etc) then you won't use the satellite inlet.

EDIT: Ooops, sorry for the near duplicate reply... Hank posted while I was still typing!

Thank you. When I turned off the antenna boost, the signal comes through fine. There was nothing to indicate the antenna boost. I wish they would label this stuff. Thanks again.

Question. I have a 2013 Laredo. Rear living area. I have a wineguard satellite to hook up. The question is I have a coax connection on outside of RV. Directly inside I have two coax connectors one above the other with a coax connecting the two. I have hooked this two cable and it works fin with both TVs, is this where the satellite feed from outside satellite is. To hookup outside satellite remove coax from back of tv and hook to satellite in on direct tv receiver. And then hook the tv output of receiver to main tv. This will only feed one tv.
SOOOO do I hook satellite ant in to one of the original coax connections and the tv feed to out feed coax. Sorry. Basically insert the satellite in between those two connectors on inside off RV.

Bad Dog Willie just saying....
