Cougar 327RES Bedroom Mount TV...

So I had a sticker that stated mount tv here. Unfortunately it was not aligned over the bedroom cabinets and would look off center. I decided to mount it right next to this square sticker lined up in center of the dresser. I drilled a small hole and did not find plywood or anything for that matter. I went ahead and inserted an anchor and mounted the bracket with a lag screw into the wall anchor. I also used man's best friend ...brown duct tape to tape along the edges of the bracket and across it to give it a little more support. It seems solid but obviously I am not going to travel with the TV mounted....

My question...anyone actually drill into the sticker and find plywood? It seems like there would be more plywood to drill into than a 2 inch square?

Wish me and my TV luck...

The stud finders work well on a sheetrock and wood stud wall. Has anyone tried a stud finder on an rv wall? Need to find something solid to mount a tp and towel rack. May mount a tv down the road. Mine also has the mount tv here sticker over the dresser.

Unfortunately, the (aluminum) trailer framing does not always lend itself to interior layouts and the mounts are intended to provided a solid mounting point that will withstand the road shock that will be transmitted to the mounting bracket when traveling. Good luck....

A lot of TV mounts will let you take the TV off fairly easily. You could take the TV down and lay it on the floor for travel. Just in case.

Most interior walls are 1½ x 1½ in. wood studs. Exterior walls are aluminum. Stud finders should work on both if it has the proper depth setting.
Mount tv here label should be the location of stud and feel somewhat solid when pushed on.

TV Mount

I own a 327 as well, in my 5er there is a pullout shelf next to our wardrobe closet that pulls out and rotates at angle towards bed for veining. Yes it is used only when parked as I don't have tv permanently mounted.
