TV in bedroom 250RL

Has anyone figured out how to mount a TV in the bedroom on the wall next to the bathroom door. I see 2 problems well actually 3 counting the wife not understanding the first 2. 1 how to find the studs for mounting the bracket to the wall and 2 how to hide the wires over to the amplifier and wall plug. Thanks for any help

Finding studs

Buy a stud finder from a hardware store. They find nails/screws that secure the panels to the studs. They range in price $10 +++

As far as running the wires, you can use Wiremold surface mount channels that come in white or ivory and can be painted to match walls. If the wall you trying to mount on is an interior wall the studs are most likely 1½"x1½" wood and few and far between. I mounted a piece of ¾" plywood between two studs and framed and color matched it to the wall. Then I could mount the tv where I (really the wife) wanted it. The velcro straps and coachmans loops secure the tv for travel.

You can see the unfinished plywood in this photo which was fine for me but the boss sent me back to the drawing board.

Hope this helps, Hank
