Tail wagging the dog
We followed an older Chevy (we think) Equinox on I-95 in Florida today. Driver pulled across into the center lane and his trouble started. The tail wagging started and this ended up in the center lane. I'm loading it in highest clarity so y'all can see the hitch. Driver, passengers and tow vehicle were safe along side the road....

Chevy Equinox? With ANYTHING behind it?? I doubt they have enough payload for the passengers much less a trailer...of any size (and solid wood floor). Thankfully the passengers were OK but....what do you do with the ever increasing silliness??

My wife took our RAM 2500 in for service and they dealer gave my wife a loaner car to use for a couple days. At first I thought I saw a Dodge Journey in my driveway when she brought it home. But realized that it was in fact a Dodge Durango AWD. I have to preface that this was my first time up close to a current generation Durango. I was able to drive it to work yesterday and today and this is my impression.
Although a bit more torquey and nimble than my Town and Country minivan, this vehicle would only be capable of pulling a small cargo trailer. When I read, see, and witness folks pulling trailers of XX amount of weight and XX amount of length with small and mid-sized SUVs, it just cements the personal decision I made 2 years ago to move into a heavy duty truck.

Steve, that's what it is. And it appeared to be loaded to the hilt. We were in the center lane and saw it coming, but when three other cars stopped to help we drove on. This was all Brenda had time to get as we slid by.
Vern, I think you're just seeing the hitch with the guts broken out.

Too small town vehicle, too much weight in rear of trailer.

Jim, from what I see in your photo there was also no anti-sway?
On a busy Interstate at least no one was hurt.

Someone mentioned a Equinox. I had a company car, 2016 Equinox, that I put a hitch on. A 4 cylinder with Tow Capacity of 1000 lbs with no trailer brakes and 1500 lbs with trailer brakes.
I hauled a 700lb aluminum utility trailer with 500lb ATV on it 2700 miles roundtrip. No trailers brakes. Pulled like a dream, except I worried the whole way there about the tranny melting...once I got there I knew I would get home.
Never seen a sway bar on a small enclosed trailer like that one pictured.
