How are you carrying the kayaks, custom or factory racks?
I have a 2017 Silverado and a Passport 195RB so close is close.

Just returned from Turquoise Lake (2nd Trip) Pulls and STOPS like a dream no issues at all. I did add Timbren SES to assist in keeping it level. I like the Timbrens.

My Set-Up

Finally "bit the bullet" and bought a DRW truck to pull my trailers. WOW! What a pulling improvement over my 2012 F-350 SRW truck. Wish I had made the switch earlier.

Wow, sweet truck!!! I'm planning to upgrade our faithful 2002 F350 for pulling our '17 Carbon 337. I've been debating SRW or DRW, each has pluses/minuses. Probably gonna go dually though, if nothing else, just to have the extra payload for an auxiliary fuel tank. Glad to hear you really like yours, helps tip me in that direction!

What hitch do you have, any issues with height, getting trailer level with decent bed rail clearance, etc.?

That's about the prettiest dark red I've seen. What in the Ram name for that color. And I thought I liked my metallic cherry red.

Here is mine, updated pic from 4th of July trip testing with new sway bar setup.

I have been looking at DRW for awhile since I purchased the toy hauler. Really happy I made the change.
I have the Curt Q20 hitch, that was mounted on rails in my 2012. I purchased the curt legs for the factory Ford puck system. Works great; but the price was a little shocking.: eek:
I have about 7" clearance between bed rails and trailer. That puts everything pretty level. Would rather have a little more.
Picture was loaded weight without any "other" suspension components added to the vehicle.

Traded my 2009 GMC DRW for this new 2018 Chevy DRW, maiden voyage towing the camper is tomorrow. Looking forward to see how well the 900+ lbs of Tq does.
