I have a somewhat similar year and model. When it click and stops moving do you lose power to your outdoor lights?? If so the breaker st the front of the trailer may be suspect. Also, getting the gears lubed that run on the slide bars. They get sticky and cause the electric motor to encounter "mechanical resistance" which in turn causes the amp load to go up.

That was my issue with my slide. May or may not be yours. Good luck.

What kind of power do you have? Are you on batteries alone? Shore power? What shape are the batteries in? Could possibly be they are low. Is it binding in any way?
