Refrigerator Dometic1350

Looking for some input. I am preparing for the first trip and pugged unit into shore power and let battery charge for over 24 hours. Turned fridge on auto and both dots light up (auto and LP). After a few minutes LP started to flash. I further purged the lines and then fired it up on gas but switch back to auto for electric and both dots stay lit and it won’t fire on auto (electric). Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Turn it off for a minute, then try again. Sometimes it will look like the LP light is on, but it’s “bleed over”from the AUTO light.

It may take 3 to 4 cycles to purge the air. Light your stove, as this will help purge the air too.

Was your battery fully discharged when you plugged it in for 24 hours? Is your battery disconnect in the on position if you have one.

Sorry, lots of questions.

If you're setting it to "auto" & plugged into shore power it will always chose electric. If you're just wanting to run on lp, set to "lp" only or unplug from shore power.

Yes the battery was more than likely fully discharged. I unplugged from shore power and had lights on 12 v power but I’m thinking maybe not enough charge time for enough power to fire the burner on electric but when I switched to LP only it fired. Thinking new battery possibly?

I realize that but both the auto and LP dots were lit when plugged in the electric overrides the gas so only the auto light should be lit. When on auto it would flash “LP”

Thank you. I tried that and then switched to just LP and it fired. Prior to that both lights were lit and it flashed “LP”. When on just LP only the LP light was lit.
