You have to downsize it before you send it. Use whatever photo program you have to decrease the size.

In photobucket, you can resize to 3 (iirc) different preset sizes, then save a copy and repost that link here. I don't think this bboard understands the HEIGHT and WIDTH tags in the IMG tags. - testing... nope

altho, unless you already resized your image, I don't see anything wrong with that size above

As was already mentioned, since you are using PhotoBucket, under the Edit tab is a resize option. 640x480 is perfect for forum posting. It's the size I use all the time.

Steve--can you educate me if I want to post side-by-side
On another site, I just input 320 on the width. If using PhotoBucket would I have to input 240 for the height as well?

No need to select the height. There may be a check box to keep the dimensions proportional. But I think you just pick the size with a single check, ie. 640 x 480 or 320 x 240.

If you want the pics side by side, don't use a carriage return between pic locations - example:

[img] pic1 [/img][img] pic2 [/img] will be side by side.

[img] pic1 [/img]
[img] pic2 [/img] will be one above the other.

Here's a 640x480 just so you can see how it nicely displays without making the screen too large:

Snapfish vs Flickr

I have had trouble getting pics from Snapfish to display properly, so I am trying Flickr ....

...and it seems to work!
