Decided to do it.

Have decided to trade in a Joey Nomad for a Laredo 240MK. Should be here in about 2 weeks. After seeing some of the Keystone products I am looking forward to getting this camper and taking it out!

Congrats and make sure you do a VERY THOROUGH PDI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I didn't and I wish I would have. At least you do have some experience with a PDI. I didn't know what to expect and let those guys walk all over me. Our PDI lasted about 20 minutes. Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay to quick.

Make sure you threaten (in advance) to dry camp on their site too. Actually I would suggest it if you can and if they won't let you, find a campground near by and be ready to drive your camper back to their lot for some minor repairs.

My repairs were minor, but we live 100 miles away and when we took it back and left it for 3 weeks we picked it up and drove it home again only to find that half the stuff had still not been fixed. I called and told them they needed to come to me and repair. Believe it or not, they did. I wasn't down right nasty with them, but I was very insistant about it. I even broke down how much it would cost [them] for me to come back to have them repair what they didn't fix. When I took the camper to them the first time I had marked everything with blue painters tape to indicate where things were, gave them a detailed list, and told them to keep it as long as they needed to.

I just consider it a valuable lesson learned for my next purchase because I know that I will be buying one again after the kids are gone.

Best of luck!

Thanks for the advise. We have a trip planned soon after the camper arrives and I am nervous about taking a NEW camper on a 2 week trip.

Came in today! Was lucky and spent 4 hours doing PDI. Everything worked like a champ and I am so pleased with this camper.

Picked up the camper Wednesday the 17th, loaded it on Thursday and took off at 5am on Friday the 19th. 10 days, 3 great Arkansas State Parks and a total of 1,479 miles, all with no trouble! Had several people want to look inside and see and received and lot of compliments about how the camper looks.

I actually brought a torque wrench with me and checked the lugs at each stop.
