2012 Super Lite 275sbh

just got our new camper, literature shows 45 gal fresh and 30 black and 60 waste, did not realize until did walk around with dealer the sink is on seperate gray tank,so the question is,

45 gal fresh, should be accurate
30 gal black should be accurate
BUT
do I have a combined 60 gal gray, or a combination of tanks to add up to 60 gal and if so what are the sizes? or do I have as the dealer suggested a 60 gal sink gray and a 60 gal shower gray?

I will probably have to fill and measure out the drain to be sure but hopin someone can answer without the hassle.

All web sites show 60 gal gray with no mention of two tanks and two drains.

If you have three valves under the camper then you have two gray tanks. Our Cougar is like that. If you do have that, I have a couple tips for you.

Go easy on the water especially if you are dry camping because they fill up fast when they are that small.

If your front gray tank valve is located under the slide, you may consider manufacturing a fork type extension to pull the valve when your slide is out. It's a pain to crawl under the slide to open the valve when the tank gets full.

Last tip: Since my valve is located under the slide and not at the back by the main sewer, I have a long drain pipe leading to it from the front part of the camper to the back. Even though you shut the valve, there may still be water in the pipe because you are level. Before you disconnect your sewer hose and leave, raise your camper up to let that water drain out. You may still find a little surprise the next time you camp, but it won't be as much and at least it's gray water! I had a problem with my black tank valve and had a few "surprises" the first couple of times I camped and at home. Not a good day. Did you ever see the movie RV?

Welcome to the forum schwalbach, glad you joined us.

Some manufacturers specify the number of gray tanks & sizes in their literature, and others don't...
Keystone does not! Despite what the salesman said it's highly unlikely that any manufacturer
would put 2-60 gal [EACH] gray tanks in a "lighter-weight" trailer or 5th wheel. Obviously he needs
to learn more about the products he sells, IMHO.

All that said -- you have a Laredo "Super-Lite", correct? Then you should have 2-30 gal gray tanks,
for a total of 60 gal gray water capacity.

As shown in the link below, all of the "Super-Lite" models have 30 gal capacity (black & gray) tanks...
the indication of '2' gray tanks is the 60 gal (total) gray water capacity on certain models.

measured, and have 45 gal fresh, 2 30 gal gray and a 30 gallon black, took a little while but peace of mind knowing size was worth it.

By the way we are in a severe dought here in Wisconsin, only had it out once in the four weeks we have had it and Guess what, rained the night we stayed our first night! Go figure, but at least I found a leak in the slider, on the screws that hold the trim. they are all now caulked! Bad news is dealer has to fix the delam end of August after we get back from a week trip. Luckily it is small on lwer side wall of slider.
