Slide Leak

Time to check with the forum members again. It seem that both of my slides on my Passport 3050BHS leak when it rains and the slides ( dining area and rear bunk bedroom area) are in. I have checked with the dealer and they say that slides will leak. I find this unlikely. I am not talking buckets of water just enough to get the carpet wet mostly on the ends of each slide.

Any comments on this would be greatly appreciated.

It is not normal for slides to leak, tell that dealer that he is a lying SOB. What your problem is I don't know but those slides are not made to leak!

I am sure that your dealer is a very nice man but he doesn't know what he is talking about. Slides may leak but it is certainly not normal - especially when they are retracted. As was pointed out in the above post, something is amiss and for your dealer to brush you off by saying that "slides will leak" is utter nonsense. Your carpet should not be showing any signs of getting wet or damp.
Next time you talk to this dealer, ask to speak to someone who knows what they are talking about - if they can find anyone that works there who does. Sorry, be more polite than the tone of this post -- but be firm.

slide leak

Referencing my previous post, I called Keystone about my slides leaking. They said to bring it back to dealer. Called dealer and referenced my conversation with Keystone. RV goes back to dealer in 5 days for warrantee repair of slides...

Love this forum. Good answers and advice, not the "I've been camping for 50 years sarcasm" that I have seen and gotten on other forum sites that I used in the past.

Thanks Again
