2014 Cougar 333MKS spring leaf alignment
Rear axle leaf springs are slightly misaligned on the trailing axle passenger side. will be checking out with dealer this Spring. Comments from members on this? Photo comparison: passenger side-rear and driver side-rear.
(not sure photos transferred).

Yep they transferred, need rotated to Left.
Did you make a maneuver where you moved the rear of the trailer to the Right (curb side), and didn't pull ahead to get straight then back again
prior to dropping the trailer? If so then you have left the trailer with tension in the suspension.

RE: axle leaf springs.
No, no tension - was a straight, flat back-up. don't see any scrape or rust color change at the "shift", so must have happened a while back, or always was that way. Checked dimension hub centerline to hub centerline both sides. Dimensions equal.

If everything appears to be where they belong, take a hammer and adjust the leaves so they are in line. What may have happened could be the u-bolts may not be torqued correctly. On overslung axles, where the axle is below the springs, they need to be torqued with load on them, which is not done at the factory. If the u-bolts are 1/2", Dexter says the nuts should be torqued to between 45 to 70 ft lbs. This should be part of the annual maintenance routine.

X2
not really a big issue that is why leaf springs typicality have clips wrapped around them.
