hi from South Louisiana

We are new to rving. We purchased our first ever camper in January. It is a 2010 Keystone Cougar X-Lite 27RLS. We have been camping 5 times since we've gotten it. Our last trip was last weekend, which was during a heat advisory. The temps were in the mid 90's with a heat index of 110. I'm pretty sure I prefer autumn, winter and spring camping. However, our ac worked just fine. We have had our share of mishaps though. On our first trip out we had a major water leak in the bedroom when the water connection leaked. It just needed tightening. On our last trip we got a flat tire. It was caused by a limestone rock at the campground puncturing a 5/8" hole in our tire. We bent our large door handle when we tried to close our awning and forgot to move the handle out of the way. We left the vent open when we left from our first trip. But, all in all we've had a good time and learned a few good lessons.
