Boliy genset

Well, got warm enough for testing, the new Boliy Generator did not have any problem with the 15k aircon on the SRX. This was done with a 50' 10/3 extension cord connected to the 50amp service plug into the unit, the voltage loss was our main concern, however not a problem. The genset tent cover makes this quiet unit even quieter, also got a cheap $10.00 walmart clip-on fan to disperse as much hot air as possible, we camp a week at Bristol and it gets super hot down there in August, one year 100+ for multiple days. Anyway, this Boliy has actually matched their advert, clean, quiet inverter that is very econ on the fuel. We did not want to spend the $ on the Honda 3000 and were nervous that it would not start our 15k aircon, which they do not guarantee, in fact, when I went to CW, they stated that two Honda 2000 units would not be guaranteed nor warranted for a 15k aircon either. Anyway, happy with performance of this unit, a couple of others here were asking about this in the past.

Save the 400 dollars and put it toward repairs if it EVER needs any.

Gentent

Pick of the Boliy inside the GENTENT. We bolt on a bike rack bracket, then put a sound/vibration board to set the Generator on, worked awesome.

I've changed the oil twice already, first time after 10hrs and second after a long weekend at Richmond. Very impressed, expected dark oil, however very clear on both changes. Hope you are as happy as we are with ours. Did you get the electric start? After fully charging the battery with running the unit, it has been great, very easy to just push the button. We have not had any issues with starting the unit, pull the chock then quickly push it in after starting.

Nice to have another srx owner to discuss the model with. Once you get it definitely like to hear about your likes dislikes and mods..

I have been camper less for over a year. Its kill me. I would have it already if I did not have to wait for the 5th wheel receiver install in my truck.

What brand of oil are you using?

Cheers.
How's your unit working out? Ours has been perfect! Have used ours to run our 15k aircon this past weekend... man was it nice having a comfortable unit while enroute to our destination! Started it in the back of the truck two hours prior to stopping over night, ran while we were driving and when we got to Walmart, the unit was a nice 75deg.... and it was humid and like 88 outside. Can't say enough about this unit, that's for sure.

I went back and forth on Boliy or a Honda- Sat i picked up the Honda. Found a local concrete store with them on sale for $1919.00. All most double the boliy- but I've had the 2000 watt Honda for 12 years at work and it been great. Also 3 repair centers with in 10 miles.

I ran it for 4 hours to break it in, running the ac and every light. It did not miss a beat. I can not believe how quite it is.

The biggest down side is the weight. At 140 lbs it a bear to move. Needs a wheel kit.

How much stress is that placing on your camper's rear bumper?
