I’ve covered ours since we bought it new in 2015. I use several Harbor Freight tarp clips and rope along with the plastic wrap. This set up has been through some pretty bad winds without a single tear. It’s very time consuming doing it this way but well worth it when the cover comes off in the spring. I’m currently waiting on a approval from the city to put up a metal rv cover. Hopefully this is my last year having to cover it.

Topglock what you have done there is to totally defeat the purpose of the rv cover. The rv cover is constructed out of a "breathable" fabric that allows moisture to get out and also prevents heat build up. Using a solid tarp or plastic wrap is like creating a sauna.

Well it must be doing something. After nearly 5 years it still looks and smells like brand new. Also wind still does flow around the cover just doesn’t move it much.

When I originally looked at it the top looked like a separate tarp. After looking at again I think that's the top of the cover folded over the front? I'm guessing the cover was for a longer trailer?

I still don't think smothering the sides in saran wrap is a good idea but if it works for you then that's great.

If I’m not mistaken I believe I ordered a up to 30’ wanting to make sure it would cover the tongue and rear bumper. Back fits great just a little sloppy in the nose.

I always kept my rig covered, to protect it from sun damage when we lived in SOCAL.
Then...
I covered both our travel trailer and tow vehicle, for the winter, when we moved to the NW.
Everything that could corrode did.
Ventilation is important. Now the new rig is parked in a covered storage with the roof vents open all the time.

There was also another item mentioned tire covers. Now I know everyone is afraid of UV. I get that but I bet you don't cover the tires on your car. Why not you might ask yourself. it's because you drive it a lot. But the sun shines on them all the time just like on the trailer. Just because the trailer sits doesn't mean much as far as tires go. You see old tires all over the place and the sidewalls look just fine. I think that tires get old and need to be replaced way before the sun gets them. I will no longer wast my time to cover them.
