Exclamation Montana frame flex

Has anyone experienced the frame flex problem on the 3790/3791 models? How did Keystone handle it and how long did it take to repair?

Montana frame flex

I believe there has been some with similar issues. I’m not sure how they were resolved. I’d try searching the forum for anything you can find. Hope it’s nothing serious. Snowbank posted about frame issues today.

The frame flex issue has been out there for well over a decade. It’s across ALL brands that use Lippert frame. The frame is built per customer specs.. customer being the RV builder.

The manner in which the super structure is attached to the frame is also suspect and in my opinion not enough gussets and proper welds for the load imposed on the frame.

There’s some good info about Lipperts frame, welds, repairs, etc out there ... sadly even 2019 and 2020 fifth wheels are still seeing cracks in sidewalls ...usually lower left corner of bedroom slide out
