New to the Keystone fam

Hello friends. We're moving up from a Coachman 223 to a Passport 2920BH. Lookin forward to the fun! We pick it up in two days. Pullin' it with a 4.6 Ford f150--should be interesting. The towing capacity is stated at 6500--this 2920 is rated at about 5220. We'll be toppin out, but I'm confident that being careful should do us just fine. We camp about 6-8 times a year mostly over flat ground with one trip being to skyline drive in the VA mountains. Lookin' forward to learnin!

I'm seeing a lot of big dog trucks--our's isnt, a little bit nervous to pick it up. We traded in a catelina that was #1100 less than what we're getting. Slow and steady, right? I'll post picture when I can!

Congrats and good luck. Be careful, I had a 4.6 about 3 trucks ago and got rid of it after 1 year because the max tow was 5,700 pounds and there was nothing out there that we were interested in under that weight. The Passport is about 7,200 pounds so take it easy out there so everyone is safe.

The truck sticker says I can tow 6500. I'm having a time figuring the total amount of weight with cargo plus people plus camper that my truck can pull.

I believe you have asked this question in another section of the forum and have had some feedback there.
