Furrion DV3100 Aux Input

Hello to all,
Been going through some of the goodies on the new Elite 19RB. It has the Furrion DV3100 Ent system with a LED TV. The TV and Ent System were connected all wrong from the factory. I now have all the RCA cables correct and can play DVDs, listen to TV through the Ent System speakers (inside and out), radio, CD, USB, etc.
Problem? When I scroll through the inputs on the ent system one of the choices is AUX. There is an input on the front of the unit labeled AUX, Looks kind of like the headphone jack next to it. However, it appears to be plugged and unusable even though I get an AUX option as an input. From what I have researched it appears it was made for an audio/video input cable that went from the yellow, red, white RCA plugs to the headphone type plug and allowed input through the front of the unit. I did not receive such a cable and the input jack looks to be plugged anyway.

Anyone have any insight? Is this something Keystone had deleted from the standard DV3100? Are others seeing something similar with the plugged jack or is mine different for some reason?

Thanks

Are you sure it’s “plugged”? If my brain is working, I remember that plug being used to hold a tag touting the features of the radio, Try pulling it out.

I have the same system I think it is where we plugged in an i-pod with a double ended male cord, because I got fed up trying to connect via NFC and Bluetooth. It has an HDMI out on the back also. Wish they would have used an HDMI cable to connect the TV instead of the RCA. It is on the modification list. I will take a look when I go clean the snow off the roof this week.

That sounds right if the 'jack' is what I think it should be for the I-pod input. Mine certainly does not have an HDMI output. It has two red, white, yellow rca outs and a sub out, but no HDMI.

I will have to try a little harder when I am out there again tomorrow. The plug looks like it could be as you mention, but my fat little fingers didn't readily pull it out today and since I didn't have the cord I mentioned included I didn't keep trying.

Thanks

WXman,
The HDMI output is on the back, I should have specified that. You have to pop the face off and unmount the unit from the cabinet to get to it it. Not sure how I am gonna fish an HDMI cable from the unit to the TV or vice versa. Those RCA cables look pretty tight on the upper end on my unit.

I have had the DV3100 out and definitely no HDMI output on the back. Maybe yours is the similar DV3300. The specs show it to have an HDMI output on the back.

Nailed it. It was a small plastic plug in the jack that probably was used originally to hold a tag or something. Still had to use pliers to get it out, but the jack is there and functional.

Thanks to all. I now think what I have is working as intended.

Glad you got it. I think I actually have the 3200 still not the greatest user friendly system but it works for us now IMO
