Great Falls to Missoula

Hi everyone. We are currently planning a trip to Seattle in the summer and need some advice from some seasoned travellers. Has anyone taken MT200 from Great Falls MT to Missoula rather than I15 to Butte and then I90 to Missoula? We have a 38’ 5th pulled by F-350 diesel. Looks like it is much shorter and wouldn’t be a question with a car. We just haven’t travelled through this area with our camper. Any suggestions are gratefully accepted!

Have traveled that highway a few times with a motorhome pulling a Mustang show car on a trailer. Lot shorter than going all the way to Helena and back up. Good road with a few slower speed limits through small towns. Has a few steep grades but no different than I15 from Great Falls to Helena.

Thanks for the info. We have never been out that way and are heading to Seattle from Saskatchewan. Use to the flat prairies in Sk and MT but haven’t done mountains yet.
