Polaris RZR (Trail) and Full Size ATV

Anybody ever jam both a RZR (the older trail rated) and a full size ATV into their Raptor/Carbon wide body toy hauler? My tape measure says it will fit but just eyeballing it says no. It seems the downfall might be the bed rails that go almost to the floor. Wonder if I can cut those off without affecting the beds.

I used to stuff and RZR 800S model and a full size kawasaki 700 as well as a Yamaha Blaster. This was in a 12ft garage. I now own a RZR 1000XP and it takes up every inch. No room for quads with the XP

Cool. I'll give it shot over the weekend. I've got a 2013 RZR800 (50 inch) and a 2010 Polaris Sportsman 550 X2. I'm not sure about standing the 550x2 up. Sucker weights in at 800lbs. My garage is only 11' (Carbon 357) but I'm not worried about the 11'. It's the 97" or so width that has me worried.

what I did was back the renegade in and then drive in with the outlander, the front of the renegade is narrower than the rear.

That's what I was going to do. I've got Blingstar suicide doors on my RZR so I was going to pull the one that would go up against the wall off, back the RZR in and then pull the Sportsman in and just give it the gas until it fits

We tried this in my 2010 Fuzion 2 weeks ago in Mancos, Colorado.
It will not work. Wheel base on both RZR 800 and x2 Sportsman are too wide.
It was lacking about 2" of width.

Really?? I keep hearing that it will. I even found this picture (no idea who it is) but it looks like they will. That's a RZR 800 and their Touring Sportsman up front although I'm not sure which toy hauler it is. Guess I'll find out this weekend.

Actually..I think I figured it out. It does look like a Keystone TH but if you look at the RZR closely, it looks like they might have lifted it with a jack to get the suspension to narrow up a bit and then got the Touring Sportsman in. I'd be OK with that too.

Good luck. The pic looks good , Is it possible that the RZR is a 570?

It's possible but the 570 is the same width as the 800. 50"

I'll let you know on Monday. We had a problem with the beds in the garage and the Carbon had to go to the dealership to get fixed.

I can fit my Polaris 50" trail rzr and Honda Rincon next to each other. Also fit a honda crf450x, Crf80F and a Polaris 50 quad in a 14' garage.

Nope...didn't fit. Short by 1 1/2 inches or so. If the power bed rails weren't there it'd go in a little tight but it would work. I even tried jacking the rzr and sportsman up to get the suspension to get taller but it still didn't fit.

I've been wanting to get rid of the rzr anyway. Kids are grown up and don't camp with us much any more and my wife hates riding or driving in it. I'll sell it and get another quad.

fyi: the sportsman models are over an inch wider than the Honda quads and almost 2 inches wider than the Can-Am quads.

Oh yes, that looks familiar. I'm sure the industry will find a way to make this work sooner or later! I have 2 Yamaha Grizzlies and they fit with 3 inches on each side.

Interesting. I had a little over 2" between the front of the Rincon and RZR. Those Polaris ATVs must be wide. Is the Polaris ATV narrower in front than the rear? If I remember correctly I didn't pull mine flush because of this reason. Seemed to fit better if I staggered them a little.

Could you back you RZR in and then pull the quad up a little or do you need that extra space?

that's what I had to do with my canam quads and one is 49" wide, outlander 1000max running 30" tires. the other renegade 500 stock 25" tires 47" wide, I backed the rene in and the drove straight in with the other and they just squeezed in. not sure what Polaris you have but my fathers popo 800 running 28" tires will fit the same way with my outy.

it really comes down to the tires. the rig bodies may fit side by side but if you've upgraded to any oversize tires on either, no way

One is a 2013 RZR 800 LE (50") and the other is a 2010 Sportsman 550 X2 (47.5"). Stock tires on both. I can't stagger because my Carbon 357 has a 11' garage. We loved the floor layout on the 357 and really like the 2nd bathroom so we were stuck with a 11' garage. If I had 13' (or more) to work with I'm sure I could have staggered them. Oh well..2 Sportsmans will fit just fine.

p.s. anybody want to buy a 2013 RZR800 fully loaded? ;-)
